Lettuce Press was established in 2008 after I fell in love with printing in an Intro to Letterpress class in Seattle. The old greasy machines, the cases and cases of tiny type, the smell of the ink...I could go on, and on. I love a print shop.
Every piece is letterpress printed with love, by hand. Letterpress is a printing technique based on the 1439 Gutenberg process where movable type is set, locked up, inked, and then pressed against a piece of paper.
Each printed item I create is meant to help you connect and express your sentiments, whether they be sweet, a tad salty, or somewhere in between.
